It is my great pleasure to write a letter of recommendation for Ms. Tina Clark, who was a member of my Marketing class during the fall semester of 2011.  While in my class I was able to observe and interact with Tina on a number of different levels and have found her to be an excellent student, a strong leader and a person of high character.  Because of the interactive nature of my class and numerous interactions with Tina outside of class, I am in a good position to comment on Tina Clark’s skills, character, and her likelihood of future academic and business success.

I will start by saying that I am very impressed with Tina Clark.  Her performance in my class was outstanding.  She was one of the top scoring students across my two classes of more than 150 students. She also achieved this while taking a full course load and working a job!

In the classroom and outside, Tina more than demonstrated her analytical and intellectual capabilities.  Through student discussion I am able to assess students’ abilities to sort through complex material and develop logical arguments to support their position on a particular issue.  Tina Clark was able to sort the important from the unimportant and come up with excellent recommendations.  These interactions also gave me the opportunity to recognize Tina’s strong excellent communication skills.  She was comfortable and articulate in raising points during our class discussions.

Finally, Tina demonstrated a strong attention to detail.  This could be seen in all areas of her work.  I believe this trait might be especially important for accountants.

As you can tell I think very highly of Tina Clark.  I know that any organization would be far better off with Tina Clark on staff.  I would be happy to talk more about Tina and her abilities. If I can be of further assistance, please feel free to call me at 970-491-6609.

In the short time that we have had Tina as our contact we have noticed her high work ethic, attention to detail and follow-up effort. Tina always understands what we need. She handles our requests in an outstanding manner. She is always prompt to follow-up when requested and even calls us to alert us to potential problems.

Tina seems to be a true professional and it is a pleasure to work with her.

Tina Clark has been an integral part of the successful completion of our grant writing project for the past three years. She keeps meticulous records, organizes information in understandable ways, has a can-do attitude, is always professional, and goes the extra mile. In addition, her work on reconciling the budget for this grant was accurate, clear, and met the deadline easily. Tina is an experienced professional with a strong detail orientation who is an excellent team player and wonderful colleague to have on board.

Jennifer Vancil, Vancil Consulting

Tina exceeds customer expectations. I have heard nothing but good comments from internal and external customers. Tina gets her job done in a timely manner…identifies problem areas and offers solutions…[and] is a team player.

Deanne Fiedler, Aerofil Technology, Inc.

Tina is a quick learner and was able to learn the aspects of her job in less time than normal. From the start, Tina was able to operate efficiently, with very little training.

After about three months on the job, we were able to consolidate the duties of another employee who left the organization into Tina’s position. This was due in large part to her aggressive work habits, good clerical and organizational skills. Tina has been a positive influence on the department as a result of her commitment to her job and the Association, and her willingness to do more than is expected.

Bruce J. Thielen, Vice President, First State Savings

I worked with Tina at a Century 21 real estate office where she was…required to be extremely organized and efficient to complete the required tasks. As her manager, I absolutely never had to worry that Tina would be lax in any task. She is very loyal and gives more than 100% to everything she does. Tina always has a positive outlook and completes tasks without having to be micromanaged. Even outside of work, I have continued to stay in touch with Tina and still find her to be a woman of her word. Tina would be a phenomenal team member and strong asset to any organization.

Christine Fielder, Century 21 One World

Tina is an excellent student – hardworking and smart. I could always count on her to provide thoughtful discussion on class topics and bring her real world experience into the classroom. What impresses me most about Tina is her ability to have a high level of academic achievement while working almost full-time.
